How to switch invoices back to the classic view?

The option to switch back to the Classic view invoice layout will depend on your QuickBooks Online (QBO) subscription, @jimb3.

Beginning April 24th, a group of customers (roughly 70k) that uses QBO Simple Start and Essentials are force-migrated to the new invoice layout without an option to switch back to Classic view. While those who subscribe to the Plus and Advanced versions still have the option to go back to the old layout before May 6th.

If you're currently using the latter versions, here's how to switch back to the Classic view layout:

1. Select the +New menu.
2. Next, click Invoice.
3. Then, select the Old layout icon located at the top right part of the page.
