Question

Invoices being imported from Fishbowl are having extra digits added to product pricing. Can anyone tell me what is causing this and how to fix it?

Let me share information on the extra digits added to your product pricing on your invoices, Kgerami.

When adding products or services to your invoices, verify that the pricing is accurate before importing the file. Confirm that the decimal places and rounding settings match between Fishbowl and QuickBooks Online (QBO). Mismatched settings could lead to those extra digits in pricing.

It's also important to double-check file being imported and the integration between Fishbowl and QuickBooks Online. Ensure that data transfer is accurate and that no unexpected modifications occur during the import process. You can check this detailed article for the file format you can use to import information to QBO: Common questions about importing data to QuickBooks Online.

I'll also include this helpful article about importing invoices to QuickBooks Online: Import multiple invoices at once in QuickBooks Online.

Furthermore, here's a resource you can use as a future reference about receiving and recording invoice payments: Record invoice payments in QuickBooks Online.
