Question

Is there a way to have the description field on a check populate the memo line for printed checks? Or do I need to copy and paste my description into the memo field?

Welcome to the Community, Emmel.

You're correct in copying and pasting the information from your description field to your memo field to ensure accurate information is inputted and will populate on your QuickBooks Online (QBO) printed checks. This method serves as a reliable solution for seamless check processing and documentation.

You can dive into this resource and start exploring more in reproducing checks in QBO: Print a check in QuickBooks Online.

I'll be adding this article for you to refer in configuring the print settings: Configure your print settings for printing checks in QuickBooks Online.
