Hello there, @kevin11_2. Let's figure out what causes this error appears on your screen while managing your invoices in QuickBooks Online.
Since you are trying to set up invoices in a new QuickBooks account and all payments are being declined with code 5008, the error message indicates that the credit card number you entered is invalid.
Here are some steps you can take to fix this issue:
Double-check the credit card number and transaction information to make sure that they were entered correctly.
Make sure that the credit card you are using is valid and has not expired.
Try using a different credit card to see if the issue persists.
If the issue persists, there may be other reasons why your credit card transaction is being declined. Some possible reasons include insufficient funds, unauthorized debit entry, or revoked authorization. In this case, we can contact our support team to report the issue and get further assistance.
You can still have our assistance if you need one. Just leave a comment below. Have a great day.
The issue appears to be on the processing side. I created an invoice and sent it to myself, then tried to pay it with multiple cards, where one was voided due to “risk check”. This may have something to do with an unknown checking account showing up as my deposit account. I can’t update the deposit account in my profile either
