Payroll report with hourly wages

You can customize the Payroll Summary report to get the details you want to include in this report. You can customize it for Employees. Then, set the date range correctly and set Columns on how you pay your employees. 

Also, you can run the Payroll Detail Review report to get other details you need. Here's how:

1. Go to Reports at the top menu bar.
2. Select Employees & Payroll, then choose Payroll Detail Review Report.
3. Click on the Customize Report button.
4. Choose Display.
5. Under Columns, an enter Name and Date.
6. Go to the Filters tab, enter Payroll Item in the Choose Filter box. 
7. Include all the details you need.
8. Click on OK.

You can export two reports to combine the information from Excel or add some information you want. Here's how:

1. Find and open the appropriate report.
2. Click your Excel option on the toolbar.
3. Choose Create New Worksheet

There are several reports that might work for this. What is it you need the report for?

I am using QB Enterprise desktop.  I need a report that shows: date, employee name (Source Name),  payroll items, class, qty, amount & The HOURLY WAGE !  I have memorized and customized a payroll item detail report, but I cannot get the HOURLY WAGE to show in this report.

I can certainly understand how an ability to add an hourly wage section to reports could be useful and have submitted a suggestion about it as of today.

You can also submit your own feedback while using QuickBooks.

Here's how:
 

1. In the top menu bar, go to Help, then Send Feedback Online.
2. Choose Product Suggestion.
3. Enter your feedback.
4. Select Send Feedback.

As a workaround, you can export reports and customize them further outside of QuickBooks. Another option is checking your QuickBooks Desktop Marketplace for apps which may be able to help you achieve what you're looking to accomplish.
