Remove open balance from invoice

I am looking to remove the open running balance on an invoice for a single customer.  They wish to only see the current invoice amount and not the total balance due.  Is this something that can be done between customers or just all invoices in general.

I'd be glad to help you remove open balances from your customer's invoice in QuickBooks Online (QBO), cayuga.lawns.

 

In QBO, account summaries only show charges and payments made before you created the invoice. The account summary won't display on an invoice unless removed.

 

To do this, please follow these steps:
 

  1. Go to Settings and select Custom form styles.
  2. Find the invoice template, then select Edit from the Action dropdown menu.
  3. Select the Content tab.
  4. In the form preview, select the Table section.
  5. Uncheck the Show on invoice box.
  6. Select Done.
