You'll want to ensure that the Date and DueDate toggle button is activated in the Customize menu, Tdeancox. This way, these fields are visible when creating an invoice. Let me help you on how.
When the toggle switch for your invoice details is turned off, these will not be displayed when creating an invoice. You'll need to click the Customize menu and select Invoice details to enable them. Refer to the screenshots for guidance.
However, if the date field is turned on, I'd recommend accessing your account using a private window. The outdated stored cache can affect the program's performance.
Here are the keyboard shortcuts:
Safari: Command + Shift + N
Google Chrome: CTRL + Shift + N
Mozilla Firefox or Microsoft Edge: CTRL + Shift + N
If the date field is now showing, clear the browser's cache. Doing so deletes all the data from your browser and optimizes its performance. You may also use other supported browsers as an alternative.
For future reference, if you have receipts on your mobile device, you can email images of your receipts to QBSE. QuickBooks automatically scans the images and fills in the details for you.
