QuickBooks Self-Employed does not provide an Accounts Receivable report. However, QuickBooks Solopreneur and QuickBooks Online offer several reports related to accounts receivable.

QuickBooks Self-Employed only provides a list of recorded invoices that you can export to Excel.

  1. Go to Invoices.
  2. Click the Download (Export) icon above the ACTION column.
  3. Open the downloaded file in Excel and organize the data to get the monthly invoice figures.

If you have already categorized the invoice payments on the Transactions page, you can also use the Profit and Loss report.

  1. Go to Reports and set the date range to This month.
  2. Select View, then click the amount associated with the Business income account.
  3. Click the Download (Export) icon and open the downloaded file in Excel.

If you use QuickBooks Solopreneur, you can use the Sales by Customer Summary report to view your sales data.

  1. Go to Reports.
  2. Select Sales by Customer Summary under Sales and customers.
  3. Set the Report period to This month or This month to date.
  4. Set the Accounting method to Accrual.

You can also use the Profit and Loss by Customer or Profit and Loss by Month reports, depending on the information you need.

If you use QuickBooks Online (Simple Start, Essentials, Plus, or Advanced), you can choose from several reports to get accounts receivable data, including:

  • Open Invoices
  • Invoice List
  • Accounts Receivable Aging Summary
  • Transaction Detail by Account
