Can I change the starting invoice number?

It's a pleasure to see you in Community.  Welcome!  QuickBooks Online provides the option to set up automatic transaction numbers, to keep your lists organized.  You can change or update the sequence at any time, as you feel necessary.  I would be glad to help!

If you already have Custom transaction numbers turned on, you can easily update the starting invoice number.  To do this, open an invoice, or create a new one.  Enter the new beginning number in the Invoice no. field, then Save or Save and close.
