Does anyone know how to change the default sales tax to 14% on new invoices without changing each service line?

To change the default sales tax for your new invoices without changing each service line, you'll need to go to the Taxes section, @carbo-kwan.

It's also worth noting that the ability to modify the rate will depend on how you set it up. If you add it via the 'Start tracking in a new province' or 'Combine taxes into a group rate' option, it's not possible to edit it later.

But if not, you can follow these steps to change it:

  1. Select Sales Tax from the Taxes tab.
  2. Go to Manage sales tax.
  3. Look for it in the Tax Agencies column.
  4. Once you find it, click the dropdown icon in line to it and beside the Make inactive option and Edit rate.
  5. Change the Tax on sales rate and Save.
  6. Then, Done.

Don't forget to refresh your QuickBooks to ensure the changes will be shown right away.
