How to i match my invoice numbers to always be the same as my quote numbers

Welcome to Community!  QuickBooks Online is an exceptional cloud based software for all of your accounting needs.  I can see how you'd benefit from having your transaction numbers aligned on your forms.  I'll be happy to provide more information here!

When you convert your estimate to an invoice it creates a new form, so the number wouldn't be applied automatically to match the estimate.  If you'd like the numbers to be aligned, you can edit the invoice number by entering it in the Invoice number field.
