I am looking for the automatic late fees option in quickbooks online. It is not showing under sales

In using the automatic late fees workflow for QuickBooks Online Canada, you'll need to use a third-party software that has this automated feature.

Although the late fees feature only exists for QuickBooks Online USA users, there's still a way you can process automatic late fees by using a third-party application. You can browse the QuickBooks App Market for a third-party app tailored to your business needs or search for it outside QuickBooks.
