We've had a situation come up where an invoice that has been paid is sending reminders to the customer. Now they have double paid. How do we prevent this from happening?

Welcome back to the Community. It's vital you're able to use the program without running into issues such as the one you've described above. Rest assured, I'll be glad to steer you on the right path so you can get back to doing what you enjoy the most. 

The program sends reminders based on your settings and how you choose to send out the reminders. In order to find out how the reminders are being sent, I recommend using the Audit log tool in QuickBooks. This tool provides you with a list of changes/transactions that were made on your account. With this info you can be able to see when and how the reminder was sent out.  Here's how to use the Audit log:

1. Go to Settings ⚙ and select Audit Log.
2. Select Filter.
3. Use the fields on the Filter panel to choose the appropriate User, Date, or Events filter to narrow the results.
4. If you've recently created these transactions, locate them on the Audit log screen, click on the blue link to open the transaction in question and retrieve the required info.
5. Select Apply.
