It's important you're able to edit your invoice email to your liking. Rest assured, I'll be happy to give you a hand with this so you can get back to doing what you love.
QuickBooks gives you the flexibility to customize your sales forms so they stand out to your customers. You can edit your invoice email using the steps below:
Go to Settings ⚙ and select Custom Form Styles Customization of documents.
Under the Actions column, select Edit to change the design on an existing template.
Tip: Preferences and layout changes you've set under the Design and Content tabs affect the PDF and email versions of your invoices.
From the Design tab, select the desired design you want to apply.
Select Done to save your changes.
For the invoice summary, check out these steps here:
Go to Settings ⚙ and select Custom Form StylesCustomization of documents.
Under the Actions column, select Edit to change the design on an existing template. To start a new style, select New style, and then select Invoice.
Select the Emails tab.
Choose either Full details or Summarized details.
Full details will show every line item within the invoice. It works best for shorter invoices or invoices with fewer line items.
Summarized details will show a summarized version of the invoice. It works best for longer invoices or invoices with a high number of line items.
The email preview will update depending on which setting is selected.
Select Done.
