Why are unpaid invoices showing up in my unapplied cash income for the year?

The invoices were created, but unpaid and no payments were entered.

Hi there, Scream. If you entered an invoice that contains product or service items mapped to a bank account type, the amount will be categorized as Unapplied Cash Payment Income even if no payment has been entered or received.

 

To prevent this, designate your products and services to the appropriate account. You can change the income account for your items by going to Settings  Products and services > find the item > Edit > select the account you want to use in the Income account* dropdown > Save.
