Don't worry, I can help you with this! Making sure that your funds are going to the right place is important and I can explain what's likely happened as well as give you a couple of options to get the amounts to the right place.
When you receive funds either from a payment or a sales receipt, there's a field on those transactions called Deposit to. From this drop-down menu, you can pick the account you'd like the funds received deposited into. What I suspect is on some of your transactions, this field is showing the cash account. Here's a screenshot to show you which field I mean.
There are a couple of ways you can fix this. The first is you can go to your cash account to see which transactions have been accidentally deposited there and edit them to the appropriate account. Check out this article to learn more: Find, review, and edit transaction in your account register
The other option is to move the money from the cash account to the appropriate account through a bank transfer or a journal entry. This option can be especially useful if you have a large number of transactions that have accidentally been entered into the wrong account. Learn more here.
