Hi, Grace. To unfile a VAT return, you’ll need to contact our live support team, as they’ll need a few details from you to process the request.
Please provide:
Your QuickBooks Online Company ID.
The tax filing period you want to unfile.
The reason for the unfile request.
Once that’s received, our back-end team will take care of the unfiling for you. If you’d like more details, you can also refer to the article: How to Unfile Taxes.
Please also note that if the return has already been successfully submitted to your Tax Agency, it can’t be withdrawn from their side. Unfiling only updates the record in QuickBooks, so any needed corrections may need to be included in your next VAT return.
Feel free to reply below if you have follow-up questions.
