How to cancel a sales tax in QBO?

We're unable to cancel sales tax in QBO, but we can inactivate the rates so they won’t deduct on your sales transactions. I’ll be glad to show you how:

1. Go to Taxes.
2. Click the drop-down arrow next to the tax name (see screenshot 1).
3. Select Edit rates.
4. In the ACTION column, click the drop-drop arrow next to Edit of a certain tax rate (see screenshot 2).
5. Choose Make Inactive.
