There are some several reasons why the Long Term Liability is not appearing in the Chart of accounts in QuickBooks Online (QBO). Let me help you fix this issue.
To begin with, please be reminded that the LongTerm Liabilityis not automatically set up in QBO. You'll need to create it manually in the Chart of Accounts. If you have already set one up, please ensure it’s configured correctly.
It’s also possible that the Chart of Accounts was modified by someone, which have led to the Long-Term Liabilities section being customized or renamed. You can check the audit log to see who made changes and what those changes were.
Furthermore, if you notice that the account has been deactivated, follow these steps to make it active again.
Click the Gear icon, then choose Chart of accounts.
Select the Small Gear icon next to the Printer icon.
Tick the Include inactive option.
Find the account you want to use again, then click Make active.
However, if there are no records of account deletion or modification, this unexpected behavior could be attributed to the accumulation of site data in your browser. To confirm, let's access your company using a private window. Kindly refer to the keyboard shortcut keys below to proceed:
