The task feature is available to all registered users of QuickBooks, except for report-only users. Administrators have the most comprehensive capabilities, allowing them to create tasks and view all tasks created by other users. Other employees, however, will only see the tasks that are assigned to them or that they have created themselves.

 

If you are the admin and still can't see the task on the dashboard page, consider using a different browser to help resolve the issue.

 

Once done, QuickBooks emails a notification to the task owner. Refer to this article to learn more about this feature: Add and review tasks for your team in QBO.
