Is there a way I can assign a tax band to a suppliers so that all their products are automatically in the 0% tax bracket.

Let me share some details about purchase taxes.

In QuickBooks Online, we're unable to assign a tax rate to suppliers but we can assign one to the products. Let me show you how:

1. Go to the Sales tab and select Products and Services.
2. Find the product and click Edit or create a new one by clicking New.
3. From the Purchase tax drop-down, select the 0% tax rate.
4. Tap Save and close.

If you recorded these imported products as non-inventory type, make sure to check the Purchasing information box. This way, you can select a preferred supplier and assign a purchase tax.
