Can I run a general ledger for HST.Canada

Reports are definitely a useful tool for keeping track of your calculations and transactions. I'm happy to go over the options with you so you can see the information you'd like for your HST.

Quickbooks Online has a General Ledger report that can be found in the For my accountant section of the Reports centre. This report shows you the "beginning balance, transactions, and total for each account in your chart of accounts." You can filter to see only the accounts you want, although the options vary depending on whether you're using QuickBooks Online EasyStart, Essentials, or Plus. An easier way to see your sales tax information may be by running your sales tax reports. Scroll to the Sales tax section of the Reports centre to see which ones are available.
