My pd7a was paid to a different business account and i did not list that business number cra can't locate the payment what do I do?

QuickBooks Online Payroll provides the ability to edit your business information as you see necessary.  I can understand your concern with paying your remittance promptly.  I would be glad to assist!

To ensure the business information is accurate follow these steps;

1. Open your Settings ⚙ , then Payroll settings

2. Click on the Edit 📝  for Federal tax

3. Ensure the Business number, and all other information is correct

4. Hit Save.

It's important to note that when you file your payroll taxes in QuickBooks Online, you'll also record the payment.  However, if you're not signed up for EFILE, you will need to complete the payment outside of QuickBooks.
