Please tell me how to generate a 941 for a previous quarter that has not been archived.

To generate a 941 for a previous quarter, record the tax payment first and then save the filing manually, @cacarr.

 

Here's how:

 

  1. Navigate the Taxes menu and then select Payroll Tax.
  2. Go to Filings.
  3. Click the Filter button, check the 941 box, and hit Apply.

  4. (Optional) If you haven't yet paid, find the 941 in question, and click the dropdown arrow beside the File button and select Preview.


     
  5. To record the tax payment and filing, click File and then select Pay.
  6. Then click Record payment and choose Back to filing.
  7. Hit Record filing.
  8. Go to Resources and select Archive forms and filings.
  9. Find the 941 in question and hit View.
