I appreciate you reaching out in the Community, knicholson1. Let’s review why you're experiencing this issue and the steps you can take to resolve it.

QuickBooks Online will notify you of this error if FUTA tax payments exceed your liability, due to duplicate entries, IRS overpayments, incorrect tax rates, or negative payment history.

To confirm whether an overpayment has occurred, please follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to the Payroll menu and click Payroll Taxes
  2. Select Payments to review your tax payment history.
  3. Review your payment history for any signs of negative balances or overpayment alerts flagged in the system.

If you need to adjust or correct overpayments in your account, you can check out this article: Resolve a payroll tax overpayment.

Regarding our support availability, including weekends, it depends on your payroll subscription. To learn more about support hours, subscription details, and how to contact us, visit this article: Get help with QuickBooks products and services.
