Payroll Taxes

Thank you for connecting with the QuickBooks Community Pay employees under the Family F! I will be happy to shed some light here. You can remove the past due status for your tax forms in QuickBooks Online (QBO) by using the Record filing option. This way, the program can track that you have manually filed the form outside QuickBooks. 

Here's how: 

1. Navigate to the Taxes or Payroll Tax tab.
2. Go to the Filings or Quarterly Forms section.
3. Find the specific form you need to clear, which may be in the "Action Needed" or "Coming Up" sections, or an "Archived Forms" area.
4. Select the option to Record Filing for the liability you've paid and filed.
5. Confirm the details and select Done.
