Adding expenses to QBO

If I pay for expenses like say phone or broadband from other accounts, should I add those accounts to qbo to pull the transactions or just upload each one individually?

Hi Bart, thanks for your post & welcome to the Community

 

If you only have a few expenses per month from the account, it isn't necessary to connect the bank in QuickBooks.

 

Instead, create an account in your Chart of accounts to post these to. To do this, navigate to the Cog > Chart of accounts > New, select the relevant Account Type and Detail Type on the drop-downs, then re-name as you'd like it to appear. 

 

You can then select this account in the Payment account field when entering the expense manually.
