Could you let me know the name of your financial institution? While QuickBooks automatically downloads your transactions once your account is linked, connection hiccups can sometimes stop that feed from updating.

To fix this, manually refresh your connection and make sure your account isn't toggled off. Here's how:

  1. Log in to your QBSE account.
  2. Click the Gear icon.
  3. Select Manage accounts.
  4. Click the Refresh all button and verify that your bank account is turned on.

If transactions aren't pulling through, you can check this guide to manually import them: Add older transactions to QuickBooks Self-Employed.

Let us know if you have any other concerns.

Hi and thanks for the reply. It’s Barclays.

I’ve already tried the refresh process you describe. Nothing happens when I click the refresh button

To assist you further, could you please share whether you’re seeing any error code on your end? Since manually refreshing the connection didn’t work, log in directly to Barclays website to check for maintenance, updated terms, or security alerts that require your attention.

In the meantime, you can manually import the missing transactions to continue managing your business tasks. Once the connection is restored, simply exclude any duplicates to keep your records accurate.
