Hi there, kell. This happens when the Service Date setting is toggled off in your invoice settings. To fix this, you'll need to jump onto a web browser, as this specific toggle isn't available directly within the mobile app.

Here is how to get that date back on your invoices:

  1. Log in to QBO via a web browser.
  2. Go to Settings (the gear icon) and select Account and Settings.
  3. Click the Sales tab on the left menu.
  4. In the Sales form content section, click the pencil icon to edit.
  5. Toggle Service date to On.
  6. Click Save and then Done.

Once you’ve enabled this on the web, the Service Date field will automatically appear as a line-item option when you create invoices in the mobile app.
