It will let me attach the image file to the expense but the error message pops up when I try to save with the attachment.

You’ll need to ensure the file format of your receipts is compatible with QuickBooks Online, southwestairtech.

Beforehand, may I know what specific error message you’ve encountered after saving receipts to your expenses? Any additional details would be much appreciated.

To successfully save receipt attachments to your existing expenses, make sure to remove any sensitive information to protect your privacy. Also, supported file formats include PDF, JPEG, JPG, GIF, and PNG images.

If you’re using a newer iPhone or iPad, your photos may be saved in HEIC format. With that, you can convert HEIC images to a compatible format.

If the issue persists, you can consider logging out and back into your account. Doing so can help refresh the system and often resolve temporary glitches.

I’ll leave this thread available if you have further queries.
