Can Quick Books Online automatically calculate early payment discounts when I pay supplier bills like in QBDT? Or do I have to manually modify each individual invoice and add the discount before paying?

The online system doesn't acount for early payment discounts as in the desktop, you could create a supplier credit for the relevant discount and when selecting make payment you will be able to attach the supplier credit to the payment and this will then reduce the amount of the payment which corresponds to what you will actually be paying to your supplier.
