Can't attach/upload file to credit note

Since the new layout changes, I can no longer attach files to credit notes. The upload box is missing from the page. All I can do is select an existing upload.

If i go to settings > attachments like the help page says, there is no option to upload a file.

The same if I go to the supplier > suppliers details.

All I can do is select an existing upload, not upload a new file.

Hi, AKF24! To resolve the attachment issue you’re experiencing with your credit note, let’s go through some troubleshooting steps, as it might be related to your browser.

Sometimes, an overloaded cache can affect how your browser works. I suggest clearing your cache to help the system run more smoothly and accurately identify any webpage problems.

You can also try opening an incognito window to avoid cache issues. Here are the keyboard shortcuts for that, depending on your browser:

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Microsoft Edge: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Safari: Command + Shift + N

After clearing your cache or using incognito mode, please try to attach the file to your credit note again. If the issue continues, consider switching to a different supported browser for a better experience with QuickBooks Online.

Additionally, you might find this article useful for managing your credits and sales transactions: Create and apply credit notes or delayed credits in QuickBooks Online. You can also void or refund payments processed through QuickBooks Online.
