Hi Can I load the invoices for 2019 for the quarterly figure for the VAT return before entering the 2018 invoices?

Have you already submitted the VAT return on the 2018  invoices? If so yes you can enter the invoices for 2019 for the quarter VAT return for 2019. However you would have to not record VAT(use the NO VAT code) on the 2018 invoices when you add them otherwise it will cause exceptions in a future return.
