HiIf customer is going to make payment deposit prior to issue of invoice and work being carried out is it possible to issue a receipt via quickbooks?

Hello Wyattandwallacee, thanks for posting on the Community page, so you have some options you can either post a deposit to debtors and use it like a credit on the account to then link up to the invoice or you can create an estimate and then do a partial invoice and then link the payment to that and then send that out to the customer.
