How do i transfer receipts from cash or card purchases to quickbooks so they link with my expenses i used to be able to do this by taking photos and sending it

QuickBooks allows you to take photos using the mobile app. Then, you'll need to attach them and make expenses manually.  You can visit this article for more information: Receipt scanner. 

These steps will be used if you're using web browser:

1. Go to the Plus (+) icon.
2. Select Expense under Vendors.
3. Attach the screenshot, in the attachment tab below.
4. Then, click Save.

On the other hand, you may want to use a third party application that converts receipts within QBO. You can go to Intuit App Center and choose Track Expenses in the Categories section.
