Hi there, dgdg.

In QuickBooks Self-Employed, The Profit and loss reports often round totals to whole numbers for simplicity and readability. This approach helps users quickly scan figures, as most businesses prioritize broader numbers over precise decimals.

However, QuickBooks still tracks the exact, unrounded amounts in the backend, and those decimals are included in the actual calculations. The rounded display is just a formatting choice for some reports.

We can generate the Transactions report to view totals with decimals and specify a date range. Alternatively, you can click on the figures themselves to see the exact amounts in the Profit and loss reports section.

Please note that the total profit is accurate. The rounding in certain reports impacts only the visual presentation and does not affect the actual calculations or the final profit total.

Feel free to reach out anytime. I’d be happy to assist you further. Happy Holidays!
