The Exclude function removes pending items from your bank feed only. If duplicates appear on your Profit and Loss (P&L), they are already recorded in your register. To correct your P&L, delete the transaction directly from your register.

Here's how:

  1. Go to Reports in the left menu and run a Profit and Loss report for the affected dates.
  2. Click on the inflated income total to open the Transaction Report.
  3. Select the duplicate transaction to view its original details.
  4. Click on More at the bottom, then select Delete.

After completing these steps, refresh your P&L report to confirm that the total income decreased and the duplicate is removed.

Additionally, you can also run the Profit and Loss comparison report in QuickBooks to monitor performance across periods.

Please let us know if you have any further questions about duplicated transactions in QuickBooks.
