Question

I am unable to upload my transactions as a CSV file? Used to work and files are the same, but it keeps failing. Any ideas?

Let's work together to troubleshoot the issue with your CSV file not uploading to QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE) so you can seamlessly manage your bank transactions, Emily.

To assist you better, could you please let me know if you're encountering any specific error messages during the upload process? This information will help me identify the problem and provide a more precise solution.

In the meantime, let’s verify that the file complies with QBSE’s required format by ensuring the columns are accurate and the data is clean, with no special characters or unnecessary spaces.

If the file format is correct, I recommend clearing your browser's cache to remove any excess data that might be affecting the performance of QuickBooks Self-Employed. You can also consider using an alternative browser to narrow down the situation.

If the problem continues, I suggest contacting our live support team. They have specialized tools to securely review your account, identify the issue, and provide personalized assistance.

If you have further questions, feel free to add a reply.

Try opening your QBO account on any private/incognito browser. If the same error persists, use the trial version of csv2qbo converter tool to isolate the problem.
