I have asked to have the"sales source"box on invoices a dropdown menu where u choose or add options but ignored, i use the location box for now but would this be useful?

We did raise a product enhancement request the last time you raised this. The engineers look at the number of customers that request the same enhancement and if it could be easily implemented.We will again raise an enhancement request and encourage you to leave feedback from within the product however the decision to implement such a request is down to the engineers.
