I want to create two different invoice templates with two different sets of  messages for invoice reminders.  How do I do this?

Thank you for reaching out, @BAFFLED100. I appreciate your interest in customizing invoice reminders for different customers. I've gathered some valuable information that should help tailor your reminder system to suit your needs. Let's walk through the process together.

While QuickBooks Online (QBO) offers an automated invoice reminder feature, it applies to all invoices based on their specified due dates, without the option to exclude specific customers.

For a more personalized communication, I recommend sending reminders manually to individual customers or groups. You can streamline this process by using the batch actions feature, which allows you to select and process multiple invoices simultaneously.

This approach will better address your current needs, saving you valuable time and effort. Here's how:

  1. Log in to your QBO account and go to the Accounting menu.
  2. Choose Sales & Get paid, and navigate to Invoices.
  3. Select invoices and tap the Batch actions button.
  4. Click the Send reminders button.
  5. Follow the online prompts to proceed.

Here's a screenshot you can navigate, for visual reference:

This method provides flexibility to customize your messages for different customers. To further assist you, check out this article about managing manual and automatic invoice reminders, as well as how to track which customers have received them: Send invoice reminders automatically or manually in QuickBooks.

I hope this information helps you get started with customizing your invoice reminders, @BAFFLED100. If you encounter any challenges while implementing these steps or need further clarification, please don't hesitate to leave a comment below. Your questions and feedback are always welcome, and I'm here to support you every step of the way.
