Invoices paid and matched but not clearing under invoices

Hi All

 

Over the last couple of weeks, invoices are being paid and matched in QB but are not clearing under the invoices and are showing as outstanding.

 

I have refreshed the link with the bank but to no avail.

 

Please can someone assist as this is taking far too long to clear manually, when it should be clearing the invoices automatically upon payment being matched.

It appears your concern is about using QuickBooks Online (QBO) based on the information you've provided, Bruno. I'll offer guidelines based on the QBO product.

 

It could indicate that payments have been incorrectly applied to the wrong invoices. We can confirm this by running the Invoices and Received Payments report to display the payments you've received along with their corresponding invoices. There may also be duplicate transactions contributing to this issue.

 

  1. Go to the Reports menu and locate Invoices and Received Payments

  2. Select the Report period.

  3. Click Run report.

 

Once this is confirmed, we can apply the payments to the correct invoices.

 

Can you also confirm if you are using a payment processor? This would help us provide an accurate and prompt solution regarding when invoices should be cleared automatically upon payment matching.
