Question

Is anyone else fed up with quickbooks being so slow? I am also having issues with the uploading of receipts via the app - is anyone else having this?

Hi there, Penny. I understand that being stuck behind a screen can really impact your business. QuickBooks Online performance depends on browser efficiency, processing power, memory (RAM), and internet bandwidth. A shortfall in any of these areas can lead to slow load times or issues uploading receipts.

To fix the performance you're seeing, let's start by verifying your system specifications. Meeting these standards is the best way to clear up slowdowns and ensure a much faster, more reliable experience.

If you already meet the requirements but still have trouble, try reinstalling the app. A fresh installation, combined with checking the App Store or Google Play for the latest updates, often clears out bugs and ensures the app runs smoothly.

If the issue persists, I recommend reaching out to our QuickBooks Live Support team for immediate assistance. They have specialized tools to look at the details of your account and find exactly what is preventing your receipts from uploading properly.

Feel free to return whenever you need further assistance.

What does "stuck behind a screen" mean?  But yes, QuickBooks Online can really impact a business. Usually not in a good way.

All excellent reasons why QuickBooks Desktop is better.

Also, it's far more likely that Intuit's server performance is the real issue, or else most everything else we are doing would be slow as well, and it's not.
