Is it possible to change an invoice number once a payment has been received? We are trying to match the system with our own generated numbers. Thanks in advance

Yes it is possible, you will have to ensure that you have the customer transaction numbers activated, select the cog/gear icon in the top right hand corner > account and settings > sales > custom transaction numbers > select the box > save. Then navigate to your invoice, not the payment, there will be invoice number box located in the top right of the screen, overwrite the number with the number you wish to use.
