Question

New to QB. During categorising expenses, it won't recognize bank transfers to staff. I am having to do every single one manually, for every single week. Any help?

I'll take that you're referring to the payee. The details of the transactions that you import into QuickBooks would depend on what your bank shares with us. If you're using Web Connect files, you can't manually edit the payees' names.

 

Since the program won't automatically recognize the payees, it could be because your bank changed its format. I'd suggest reaching out to your bank first to verify if this is the case.
