when entering invoices for customers and they settle the invoice by finance can i get a finance report namely being Close Brothers

You can totally pull up an Transaction List by Customer report. But before you do that, you'll need to set up a custom payment method for Close Brothers to keep track of things easily.

To add the Payment Method, Go to Settings > All Lists > Payment Methods. Create a new method called Close Brothers Finance.

Once you receive the payment, choose the Close Brotheres Finance as the payment method and run the Transaction List by Customer report. Customize the report to filter it with the Payment Method. To do this, click Reports and enter the Transaction List by Customer in the search field. From there, click Customize and in the Filter section, choose > Payment method > equals> Close Brothers Finance.
