Can someone advise how to make other bank accounts appear in the drop-down when trying to record a VAT payment? Currently it will only show Petty Cash

Let me make it up to you by ensuring your bank accounts appear when recording a VAT payment in QuickBooks Online (QBO). 

When recording VAT payments, there should be a dropdown arrow that allows you to choose the bank account listed in your chart of accounts. 

However, if you do not see this option, we can perform some troubleshooting steps to fix this. There are times when the browser is full of frequently accessed page resources, which causes some errors or unusual responses. 

Let's start accessing your account using a different or private browser. You can use any of these shortcut keys:

• Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N
• Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl + Shift + P
• Microsoft Edge: Ctrl + Shift + P
• Safari: Command + Shift + N

Once you've logged in, try to check if you get the list of your bank accounts. If it works, clear the browser's cache. Doing so deletes all the data from your browser and optimizes its performance. You can also switch to a different supported browser.
