Does Invoice have a Cost column because I cant seem to find it?

I want to find Cost field in Invoice in QB Desktop but I cant find it. Does this field exist for Invoices?

Hi Mary162, thanks for your post - the standard invoice format shows the total net amount per line item, as well as the overall invoice amount in the summary. For clarification, are you looking to include a total cost of sales (or cost of goods) field?

Thank you for your reply.

I was able to find the cost column on Invoices on the Enterprise version of QB desktop. 

However I am trying to retrieve this field using POSTMAN but I cant retrieve it. The API documentation was a bit confusing about the fields that Invoice table supports.

 

Do you have any idea on this?

Hi Mary162, that's great - we don't support API connections to QB Desktop, however, if the field does not appear this usually suggests that it is not an available field to map to. For further support with this, please see the Community located on our developer site
