I am not able to activate the tax field on the invoice and other sales and purchase forms. I have setup the tax line items example VAT(15%) but when i go to pass Invoice, i don't see the tax field so that i can select the VAT(15%)

A possible reason the tax field isn’t showing is that your default tax rate is set to Out of scope of Tax, which overrides the tax field on new sales or purchase forms. To fix this, you can update the Default tax rate selection in the Accounting section.

Here’s how:

  1. Click the Gear icon.
  2. Choose Account and settings.
  3. Go to the Advanced tab.
  4. In the Accounting section, click Edit.
  5. Update the Default tax rate selection.

If the tax field still isn’t showing, try a private window or a supported browser, as cached data can sometimes hide fields.
