Question

Hi. How do I put our VAT Reg No on our invoices. It comes with a row of X's on the Sales Invoices even though vat number is showing on our Company details.

You're right about amending the number in the VAT section, in addition to ensuring it's correct in the Company Settings. To do this, simply go to All Apps, click the VAT tab, select Edit VAT, and choose Edit settings. Type the correct VAT number into the designated box and save your changes.

Completing these steps refreshes the connection between your tax settings and your invoice layout. This replaces the placeholder text with your actual registration details in your Primary Record, ensuring your business remains compliant with United Kingdom tax laws for the 2026 fiscal year.
