I need to change the date of a VAT payment that I recorded in Taxes. Should I delete the original payment in Taxes and re-enter it with the correct date?

Hello Tim152, For the purpose of the books being correct and as close as possible to what happened in real life we would say yes you should re-enter with the correct date the tax payment as when you come to reconcile you want the expenses to match the expenses for that month.
